Is your company in scope?
NIS2 covers far more companies than the previous rules. Here are the two categories — the official classification is communicated by the ACN.
Large companies: ≥ 250 employees or turnover > €50M
High-criticality sectors: energy, transport, healthcare, banking, water, digital infrastructure, public administration.
Proactive supervision · fines up to €10M or 2% · personal liability of directors.
Medium companies: 50–249 employees or turnover €10–50M
Annex I & II sectors: manufacturing, food, chemicals, logistics, digital services, waste, postal.
Reactive supervision · fines up to €7M or 1.4%.
